nice vid. very interesting question: why is there something rather than nothing? gotta agree with FioreFederico though... makes sense to me that the only reason possible for the existence of life: of everything in the universe, is by its creation by God.

The Bible says that the sun revolves around the earth. The moon is a source of light. The sky is a dome. The stars are little lights fixed in the sky-dome. The earth is small, flat and supported by pillars. The universe was created in six days. You can get into heaven by building a really tall tower. Does this sound like yahweh "the creator" knows anything about the cosmos?

hmmm... well you got your beliefs and i got mine. but i dont understand how anyone can look around them, at everything - the stars, galaxies, nature - and say it came out of nowhere. back to what you have commented - where in the Bible does it say that they thought the earth was flat, the sun revolves around us blah blah..? your comment wasnt built on a reference that exists in the Bible.

The reason I can look around me and think it all came out of no where is because that is the beauty of life and existence. The fluke that we are here to witness all this, not that some mystical being has some grand plan for me because I am special. The reason the idea of god exists in the first place is to satisfy the small mind that cannot conceive that all the beauty on earth and beyond is completely self-perpetuating. Enjoy your life, there is no plan for you. Just now.
