I am not into Emo. I have nothing against old or new music. I like music from all eras. Peal Jam is like the Stray Cats. They are mining very familiar territory. A retro act. A throwback to another era. Nothing original here. A good band or artist should at least try to break new ground (like the early blues muscians did).

And bands like the Yardbirds and Cream were doing blues-rock before Zeppelin.
And Robert Johnson, Blind Willie Johnson and Skip James were doing Blues before any white man picked up a guitar.
