The "woo-woo-woo" at the end might be offensive to younger listeners. It didn't make any waves back then. There's also the Loretta Lynn song. A line is, "I'm red, white and blue, wa-hoo, wa-hoo, wa-hoo."

I love it! This is a fantastic song. I have tried looking for it many times before, and when I finaly found it today, I was elated.
Definitely Politically Incorrect, but I don't consider that to be a particularly negative atribute. Gloria Steinem probably wouldn't like it, but I love it. Thank you very much for posting this song.

I'm glad you like the song. It's one of my favorites. Pay attention to the horns and piano. I don't know what younger viewers, raised in PC times, think of things like "F-Troop." Neither whites nor Native Americans were heroes on that show. I know I was NOT being a racist when I laughed at it.

Thanks for posting this terrific song have loved it from the first time it was released, I can't seem to find it on any cd available at any of my local stores. "Deano" had such a smooth voice, his singing seemed effortless. A very unique view of marriage I would say!!

Totally agree! I've wanted to hear this song again for sooo many years now! Last time I heard it was when I watched the Dean Martin Show, as a kid. And by the way, when there's an oldie like this that I want to purchase, I go to a record speciality shop and let them order it for me. That's probably going to be your best too. Good luck!

You have to laugh at this "PC" now days.
I can't imagine little boys playing "cowboys & native americans" in the backyard LOL. Would the Woo-Woo-Woo really offend anyone? Didn't some tribes do that?
I wonder if Native American's really find it offencive to be called indians, or if they just hate being confused with indians from India :-)

This is a great song. It has nothing to do with racism. So stop looking for things to be offended at and enjoy life, like Dean did.
