To kppttrst: Winning the cold war was very important to Americans, same as justifying 30 billion $ space project. You answer theses questions instead, with an logic explanation please, why didn't Russians follow USA on the moon? Why not go back for 50 years? Why does real moon pictures from Russian AND American unmanned missions does not look the same at all as NASA manned moon footage/pictures? This video does not prove anything, it didn't explain the most controversial parts of window footage.

NASA had a list of plans, making space stations, space shuttles, etc etc and could only afford one at a time. POP QUIZ, what was the very next NASA mission after Apollo?

The Russian's rocket booster had a design flaw that was too expensive to fix. The ship wouldnt fly. So why didnt the Russians cry fake? Actually Airehead, that was SKY lab. But you were close. ;) Even if you avoided the point of the thread: Nasa got the money for Skylab by DUMPING Apollo. It wanted a space station and couldnt afford both. THATS WHY we stopped going. Can you or can you not disprove that? The whole "we stopped going!" argument is pretty stupid anyway, and you may not want to get involved.

it took more than a thousand man hours and a long launch preperation that was done with vacum tubes not transistors and computers the size of a sea contaner to get that rocket that was very heavy im not sure how much but it was heavy off of the earth, then how can we get off the moon and get back home ,and i dont want to hear about less gravity ,thats bullshit the moon has pleanty of gravity it pull our oceans to high tides ,what the eyes see and the ears hear the mind belives you poor fools.

I wonder if we (as in the people of Earth, not just the USA) will find a safe way to start mining on the Moon. Or is that still a little too scifi for our current tech level?
I mean if we "stripped" mined the Moon, I don't see how it'd hurt the Earth. :)
