Basically, for the Sp. Atk EV's, you're going to want to get a power lens and go to the Old Chaeteau and fight a lot of Ghastly. You can get the power lens and the other power items at the Battle Tower for 16 Battle Points each. Although that's a lot of BP's TRUST ME!! IT'S WORTH IT!! XD Now, if you have a third generation game inserted in your DS AND are in the eye room (room w/ the creepy frame w/ the two red eyes) AND have the national dex, you may find a wild Gengar in that room. There's more than one, but they're rare. Enjoy.

this is the way i EV train my pokemon: 1- Hatch the pokemon from the egg 2- Check whether its nature and IVs are good 3- Give it boosters in the appropriate stats 4- Make it catch the pokerus 5- Give it Exp Share 6- Battle the appropriate pokemon 7- Count the EVs obtained with that application you get from Veilstone Massive Shop Thing So yeah you should start EV training as soon as possible, I did when my pokemon was level 1.

Two questions:
1) Does it have to be a breeded pokemon in order to EV train properly? 2) What level should I start to EV train? I have recently started to with a bred Pichu at lv 16. Will the leveling up effect how many EV's I get? Would it be better to start over with a Pichu around level 30 or something?
