If you are referring to the lady who introduces the drifters, her name is Dame Shirley Bassey. This year she is celebrating 55 years in show business. This was her show back in the 70's. For those from the USA, Shirley is known for singint three James Bond Theme Songs, 'Goldfinger' - 'Diamonds Are Forever' and 'Moonraker'. To day, Bassey's record sales are more than 135 Million, and her records have spent more time on the British charts than Elvis Presley (300+ weeks)

Unlike many "copy cat"drifters,this group is a pleasure.The lead singer,Johnny Moore,sang backup and was lead singer for the Original Drifters for many years.Johnny was a very talented vocalist and a fine gentleman.Unfortunately,he wasn't a great businesman,and died broke,but his great talent can never be deminished.RIP Johnny!Bill Pinckney,the bass lead vocalist of the Original Drifters died of a similar fate last year after a cash feud,and the "Drifters"name I heard is a legal entanglement
