errone, Giulio Donnini, Saro Urzi, Aldo Silvani, Julie Gibson, Alex Pochet, Mimmo Poli and Manuel Serano. Humphrey Bogart was involved in a serious car accident during the production of this film, which knocked out several of his teeth and hindered his speech. John Huston hired a young British acto
r Peter Sellers, known for his mimicry skills to dub some of Bogart's lines post-production.

I think maybe because it is a film-noir style comedy. There are however some great lines, mostly Bogart's, probably the work of Truman Capote.

oh yes just seen his name on the credits never realised before,another thing i find unusual is the cast i think they had some real fun casting this they really are an eclectic group of actors that you wouldnt normal think to be in the same film together,but i think thats maybe the idea

This is an underrated film. It is actually quite fascinating and features many highly entertaining performances.
