It's designed to wirelessly funnel information from a variety of sources and share it with everyone within a family or community. By using a Tmote Sky Sensor (by American company Moteiv)- it can gather information from the internet such as temperature and weather, or even public announcements from the police, and send them wirelessly through a local network. The information can be gathered, organised, and displayed automatically on a screen (or screens) for all to view. The built-in sensor inside the Tmote can also be used with safety in mind. The Home Messenger Service can also be accessed through computers so as to share pictures and to communicate with everyone in the group.
