The title is wrong, is not saint Sophie. Sophia in Greek means Wisdom, Is the holly wisdom of GOD!!!

This church can be the link of peace. It represents both the Islam and Christianity, a symbol of unity between these two religions. In there you will find characteristics of two different cultures, two different worlds, two different belives. Make it a sympol and Muslim will change attitude. Remember symbols in religions are able to motive adherents and... fanatics

Wouldn't it be Sainte Sophie? But you are technically correct. Sainte comes from the Latin word "Sanctus" ("Holy") which is the usual translation for Hagios ("Holy", "Divine" "Set Apart", etc).

Or it symbolises that Muslims love to invade other peoples countries and convert the native peoples holy sites in to Mosques. Just like the Jews own Temple mount. In the case of this place Islam does not belong there. Hagia Sophia should be restored to what the original builders intended.
