She was one hell of an actress and woman. She was down to earth and she certainly didnt act like a diva. Her and Gable seemed very happy with each other

I totally agree!!! I think they made a great couple, she changed him in some ways, to be a little more open & sociable. She was so free spirited & fun, & a tough cookie at that!! Great actress & a great friend!

Oh...I'm choked up. I adore this video. I'm a big Gable fan and just learning about Carole and many other old movie stars. They are so fascinating. The tragedy makes me so sad for Clark. But watching this, it's like, fans are grateful for the time they did have together. I'm sure they are together now. Many thanks for a wonderful video.

I'm watching Lombard videos this morning to remember Carole's incredible life. I love your tribute, especially the glimpses into her real life, particularly with Gable. She was beautiful and talented, but the real Carole was also kind and giving, fun to be with, a loyal friend and crazy in love with her husband. I have watched your video many times and never tire of it. It is especially meaningful to be able to watch it today. Thank you!

Thank you! yes, Carole was a beautiful, determined woman. A fun & great friend. I had only wished sometimes I could go back in time & tell her NOT to take that plane home!
She is someone I would have loved to have known! Im going to watch some of her films as well to remember her!

Thanks for this vid. It's really heartbreaking, I nearly cried when I saw them 2gether, so alive and so in love. Such traggic! waaa! I heard that Carole was so cool, she grew up with the boys and oh boy could talk like a soldier as well. It's still sad though that she died like that..oh well at least I hope their reunited now.

You're welocme. Yes I heard the same, well read, I got a copy of her bio "Screwball-The Life of Carole Lombard" off of ebay!! What great book! She was one tuff cookie & didn't take s*** from anyone-man or woman. But yet elegant & lovely at the same time. Im sure they are together calling each other Ma & Pa in heaven!
