we are playing "The Shining"
Ive posted last nights game up
on sept 28 we'll perform OUR FULL SHOW
and will be even much more improved
our status right now is even better than our status
of the competitions and etc of last year

this show put cypress falls on the map!--doesn't compare to "different drummer" or "the shining' this ones a classic.

Ah not trying to insult anyone on this but its not toilet paper... it's elastic stringing... the concept of the show here is the field is coming to life... (represented by the guards uniforms) and the strings are representing the yard lines... Just wanted to clear that up...

ahhh, I loved that show. It was so much fun to march and so much harder than Same Difference. Yum. Although...if you want a really exciting show go check out a video of "The Shining" (if you can find one). It'll blow your socks off XD

Well, it's a good show. Pretty well written drill and music. I was glad to hear woodwind solos, but I think that overall, and especially in the big chords and impacts, the balance leans too far on the brass side. I think for the most part, I was getting a bad "band-copying-drum corps" vibe... That being said, however, I WAS happy to see that the skill level of the performers could, on the most part, keep up with the rigorous demands of this show! I could see some members moving on to Cavies..
