--Senator Barack Obama-- Presidential Candidate --Dec 30, 2007
The UpTake's Rodger Routh, who is a long time resident of Iowa, brought his video camera along to this Barack Obama "stand for change" rally on the south side of Des Moines. Rodger takes you inside the rally where Obama made his final pitch to potential caucus goers and gave his supporters instructions what to do on caucus night. Watch as Rodger's camera captures the reaction of people to Obama's speech. Rodger writes:
"The crowd of Iowa Caucus attendees was "fired up, and ready to go" before Obama took the stage. But upon his arrival the "O", which stands for Orator extraordinaire, had the people on there feet and heating up the small middle school gymnasium that was packed to the rafters.
