Possibly the greatest college player of all time. Younglion, Basketball is a team sport. Nobody can win on their own. Even Jordan didn't start winning till Scotty came along. Pistol Pete didn't have ANYONE else to help him on that LSU team, while Jordan had an unbelievably deep NC team. When it comes to greatest individual performance in college, there's no question about it, the Pistol sh*ts on Jordan. Hate it or love it, F4ggot. It's a fact.

I don't know how old you are, or how many years you have watched, or played basketball, but I can tell you MJ was NOT the greatest of all time. You sound like the media of the last 15 years looking for an idol. I had the good fortune of seeing Maravich for almost all his games with the Jazz, & before that, several NBA seasons with Wilt going against Russell. The only thing MJ would win over Maravich would be number of slams & blocks. Everything else, no contest- Pistol Pete would win out!!

Invidually I think they are the same. If they play one-on-one ten times, I think they will tie all ten. MJ had Pipen, Horace, Paxson, KuKoc and Rodman. Pete never had anyone. A lot of guys are ranked the same in my head. Like MJ, Wilt, Bill, Doc, Bird, Magic, Isiah and so on so forth. I just had a discussion with someone here whether Shaq is superior to Wilt and I reply that they are of the same rank with some evidence.

Actually, that's true. But I will point out that Pistol Pete, after traded to the Jazz, led his team in Points, Rebounds, and Assists. So, yes, there are other stats than scoring, and Pete still led his team in them.
