Also consider, there have been deaths in boxing, NASCAR, football, yet nobody is concerned about the violence inherent in these sports. If you really watch the current UFC product, fights are stopped immediately when one guy is clearly out of the fight. It's not like the dark ages of MMA where a fighter that is clearly knocked out takes repeated blows to the back of the head before the ref steps in.
