I saw this two ...( 1 year ago by TimKGrimes)
I saw this two gents and their band in Chattanooga, TN during the 1970s. They started this very song, and much to my surprise, stopped after perhaps 4 bars of intro and made a soft comment to make a sound adjustment. Apparently, one of the locals had made a mistake on the band's sound board. Seconds later, with the correction made, they played everything in their book flawlessly. These two guys are truly superb musicians. Class act. Perfect music. What a pleasure.

That president of ...( 1 year ago by tucker108)
That president of WB is full of shit, talking about "paying your dues" as an ingredient for success. Most musicians pay their dues a thousand fold without monetary success, with amazing talent and endless belief in themselves-and anyone fool can tell you that much.
to conclude: This ...( 1 year ago by tucker108)
to conclude: This asshole in a white sweater and a bad haircut recorded Seals & Crofts only as long as they would keep bringing him and his company money. This record company type makes me sick. Who was the last artist labels recorded and pushed sheerly through the merits of hardwork and talent, may I ask?
I totally agree! ...( 11 months ago by JimmyMadeMartin)
I totally agree! This dickhead Joe Blow Smith is so typical of Money Thieves that are so rampant in the Music Biz today and in the 90's as well. The bad thing for us musicians and fans is that Popular Music has basically sucked since the middle70's anyway. Seals & Crofts are awesome!

these guys started as horn players in jazz bands, couldn't make money so reinvented themselves as songwriting harmony singers and string multiinstrumentalists - they are so incredibly talented - I HATE THEM!!!!!!!!!
The problem is: ...( 10 months ago by EmpressOfWyoming58)
The problem is: Seals and Crofts sounded really great, until they were big with the record company. Once they got a conctract, their music suffered and became to poppy.
This takes me back ...( 8 months ago by wygakyl)
This takes me back to Roosevelt Stadium, Jersey City, NJ 1975, I believe. Poco, Seals & Crofts and The Eagles, whew, what a lineup! Schmidt and Furay were with Poco, and Joe Walsh made one of his early appearences with The Eagles that night. The last song was "You Get the Best of My Love", and Dan Foegelberg and J.D. Souther came out to sing.
