This is the full song to the spring-summer 2007 anime of RxJ. I was working on another project but the single came out via torrent and I fell in love with the song so much th
at I had to do it.
This time, unlike my Heroic Age OP, I splitted the OP up at the end.
Romaji and English lyrics translated by DarkMirage:
urunda hitomi no oku ni
kawaranu kimi no sugata
"doko made sekai wa tsudzuku no"
todaeta hibi no kotoba
In the depths of my tear-filled eyes,
Is your e
verlasting beauty.
"How far does the world go?"
Those words from our bygone days.
kogoeru arashi no yoru mo
mada minu kimi e tsudzuku
oshiete umi wataru kaze
inori wa toki wo koeru
Even on those freezing, stormy nights,
Though you are still out of sight, I continue on.
Please tell me, ocean-cros
sing winds,
That my prayers will pass through time.
kasunda chihei no mukou ni
nemureru hoshi no souwa
"akenai yoru wa nai yo" to
ano hi no tsumi ga warau
Beyond the misty horizons,
Stars are fabled to lie.
"Dawn will surely follow every night."
The sins of my past laughs.
furueru kimi wo daki
yose
todokanu kokuu wo aogu
kikoeru yami terasu kane
kimi eto michi wa tooku
I try to embrace you trembling with uncertainty,
But I look up at the empty sky beyond reach.
I hear the chime that illuminates darkness,
Showing me that the path to you is still far.
kogoeru kaze no yoru mo
mada minu ki
mi e tsudzuku
oshiete umi wataru kaze
inori wa toki wo koeru
Even on those freezing, stormy nights,
Though you are still out of sight, I continue on.
Please tell me, ocean-crossing winds,
That my prayers will pass through time.
kogoeru kaze no kaze mo
mada minu kimi e tsudzuku
oshiete umi wataru k
aze
inori wa toki wo koeru
Even on those freezing, stormy nights,
Though you are still out of sight, I continue on.
Please tell me, ocean-crossing winds,
That my prayers will pass through time.
inori wa toki wo koeru
My prayers will pass through time.
Production notes: About half way into maki
ng it, my computer got infected with trojan, spyware, and adware. So, it was a bit of a challenge having to deal with both working on the video at the same time, closing so many pop ups. Thankfully, once I submit this, I can clean out my computer, hack into it, and re-boot everything.

祈り] means "prayer" in English. So, when you look at the lyrics for "Inori", they're completely different from the English "You Raise Me Up". They contain the phrase: "That my prayers will pass through time". Also, a direct translation of "You Raise Me Up" into Japanese will not work since some o
f the words will not work in Japanese lingo. They had to be adapted. ^__^ So, the song ends up sharing the same melody but different lyrics.
The singer is not Japanese. She has a distinctive American pronounciation. love and meow
In 2007, she performed the opening theme, Inori~You Raise Me Up~ (祈り~You Raise Me Up~, Inori~You Raise Me Up), of the Japanese anime TV series, Romeo x Juliet, which is a Japanese cover of Rolf Lovland and Brendan Graham's song, You Raise Me Up. The single also includes a cover of the En
