I think this is where Christians and Buddhists meet...
Christians put their trust in Jesus
Buddhists practice letting go.
(letting go of seeking security to find security)
Christians put God at the center of their lives...
Buddhists put the "Truth" (Dhamma) at the center of their lives...
Yet, when 9/11 happened, some will ask, "Why did God allow this to happen?"
However, those who put their trust in God or Jesus, and those who know the Dhamma, both have an appropriate response.

I just think I see some commonality.
May all Christians, Jews, Muslims, and Buddhists can live on the earth together peacefully.
May that we all find peace within ourselves, promote peace and love to the world, and relieve suffering.
