You have AMD 64 x2 6000+ and 3 GB of RAM! You have a nice system! The ATI HD 4850 video card use PCl express slot so if your motherboard have PCl slot you can use ATI HD 4850, and i think your motherboard has it! But you have 3GB RAM but they run at dual channel made? You have 3 x 1GB RAM?

Yeah! So your RAM can run at dual channel mode, you know if your RAM do not run at dual channel mode they will run slower than your CPU bus, so make sure your RAM run at dual channel mode! OK, you can use ATI HD 4850 for your system! Goodluck and nice too meet you!!!So can i make friend with you?

Dual channel mode is a techology that can increase your RAM bus, example: your RAM bus is 667 in sigle mode it will be above 1000 in dual channel mode! So fast! Don't worry your RAM will fine! To run at dual channel mode, first you must look at your mainboard, you can see 4 RAM slot on it! 2 in the same color (blue or black or yelow...), and another in the same color. And you tell me you have 2x512 GB and 1x2 GB RAM? OK, you must fit 2x512 GB in same color slot and 2x1 GB in the same color slot!

black or yellow is not important, but i forgot this thing, all your RAM stick must have same bus (533,667,800)! If not, they can not run at dual channel mode! And if you don't mind, can you give me your Yahoo! address? I want to talk directly with you!

Or does it run smooth as butter?
Im running it max on 1800x1350 atm with a 8800GTS 512mb and sometimes the frame-rate drops big time.

Sometime fps drop down but just in the short times. 8800GTS is a very good card, i thinks maybe the game is not optimize for your card or your driver! So dont worry! Thanks for watching and replying my videos! Goodluck and take care!

Well yeah I get the feeling that this game might run better on ATI cards.
When there is lots of smoke like when Cole throws a grenade the frame drops.
How is that with your card?
Might switch to a 4850X2 when its out so I would like to know what I can expect :).
