The game is technically unfinished, because from what the news is, EA rushed Crysis's final release, and Crytek couldn't put in everything they wanted for best optmization.

Though it's called completed, Crytek didn't get to finish their plans for the game, so they took out a few things and had to ship the game. Blame EA, they wanted the game to come out faster or Crytek had to pay a large fine.

I think the reason Crysis is nothing what it was hyped to be is due to those fools at EA Games. They f**k up every game. Its a curse with them. Crysis as a finished product is a 50-50 game. Not too good or not too bad. The initial beta demos and HD trailers over hyped the game to no extent and Crytek have to take the blame for the failure of what could have been game of the century. I always felt they rushed the game a bit too early.

The game costs $20 right now but the fuckin computer you'd need to run it is $1500 (Core2 Duo Quad with 4GB RAM) + a $400 video card with 1 GB or more of VRAM.

Yea but i do believe that the unreal engine can do that effect better. If you like seeing blood/gore Gears of War is an good example. I really dont think Cryengine 2 is made for that. Also Project Origin, lots of blood. I looking forward to that. But think about it if you drop a heavy tree on a person with the protection of 2020 do you think he'll be mutilated? I'd think he'll survive it. Do u think that that much blood will come out of someone in that much amour?
