yeah, this game is pretty gay, but kind of a neat idea though, no? Like for instance imagine a game nowadays more "with it" that took this idea of people fighting from different time periods! :)

This game has amazingly bad controls, as some of the animations in this video reveal. While the gore was a blast, the gameplay was actually pretty poor... even for an early-90s fighting game.

I think this game came out a shortly after Mortal Kombat. They took the opportunity to reel in an audience through Mortal Kombat's fame.
I played it twice. First time the guy with the chainsaw sliced my head off as soon as the match started then the second time he sliced off a limb then my head. So I was like... WTF? FUCK THIS! It's like you put your money in then you die. The game didn't even make you feel like you got 25% worth of game time. In fact I never more than 25% into that machine

I love this game.
But, there was a fighting game back in the 90's characters from all over the world with weapons.
I remember a guy with a spear from Africa. And a guy named Bobby from USA that had Brass Knuckles. You could even steal the other guys weapon.
