Oy... Dios santo... El primer timbre que Chick Corea pone a las teclas (que se empieza a escuchar a los 19 segundos), al cual ya se lo he escuchado en muchas otras grabaciones, es HORRIBLE!!! Chick con ese timbre parece como pendejo con juguete nuevo..., le cop ó y lo usa como un condenado..., siendo que queda HORRIBLE!!! AFLOJÁ CON ESE TIMBRE, COREA!!!

Chick Corea has amazing time!! Following a drummer like weckl through all that is not easy. Not that he messes up the time, but when the drumming gets interseting, its a challenge hangin on trading eights or whatever it is. Great stuff.

Unfortunately I was born in the era of repetitive music. My parents never listened to jazz or some real music so all I've been exposed to was poppy radio "music"
These days I've been listening to a lot of Jazz.. some of it I really like.. and some of it I really dont understand.. I guess I'll figure it out once I start listening to it all day long.
beeing a drummer myself I soon realized jazz drummers were the best, so I gotta listen to them in order to get better and more creative!

Actually it is true fuckin ingnorance calling jazz the only "real" music. Sure, a big part of the commercial pop and r'n'b world has gone completely wrong, but there o much more than jazz that has soul to it. Jazz is on way of expressing yourself, pop is another, and soul is another. Simple music is just as good as advaced music. Just beacuse you prefere the more advanced you cant say the simple stuff is less worth.
