Year 70 of the Cosmic Era, the economic friction between genetically enhanced Coordinators and unmodified Naturals has erupted into a full-scale conflict. The Natural-dominated Earth Alliance struggles to catch up with the Coordinators' superior technology and has secretly developed five Gundam mobile suits at a neutral space colony. Through a twist of fate, a young Coordinator named Kira Yamato becomes the pilot of the Alliance's prototype Strike Gundam and finds himself forced to fight his own people in order to protect his friends. Prepare for the anime epic of the year!

To all those who are saying the English actors suck, grow the fuck up and get the hell out of English speaking countries. I agree some dubs suck, but seed was not one of them. Oh and, thumbs down me if you want, I know the real reason you all down dubs. Someone says that they all suck, then ten more idiots agree with him or her, not taking the time to make their own opinion and it just spreads. So if you don't like English actors, don't live in an English speaking region.

For this type of anime, you can't realy go wrong when dubbing, but with stuff like higurashi and guyver, the accent, and the references can spoil the whole thing. I prefer subs, but once an anime is dubbed, it's realy worth watching.

first of all. I guess you only can speak english...
Second. Dubs are 99% ruining it.
Third. I know four languages. i watch english movies withouth subtitels. But when they are dubbed like in german or french, it sucks. Just like japanese is dubt in english.
There can't be a good replacement for the original language, in a normal movie, or anime...
you are yourself a dumb english speaking person who thinks english is THE language, wake up buddy, it's not!!!!!

First of all, English is my native language but I can speak 3 others for a total of four. English Spanish Chinese and Arabic. So there goes your original point out of the water. Second, no they are not. Closed minded people who can't think for themselves are ruining it. Someone says the dubs suck, every idiot in the world agrees with them. Third, yeah some dubs do suck but not most. I agree there is no replacement for the original language but there are damn good voice actors that work on dubs.

Oh and by the way. Just so you know english is THE language. Hell look in this anime it self, the original footage. You see english writing all over the place. A good 89% of japaneese(SP?) citizens speak english as a second language. To graduate high school over there you have to have at least two years of english class. Hmmm, not the language ey? Same rule applies for spain, russia and others. Hmm, all points of yours are destroyed. Good bye.

First I speak, Dutch, French, German and English. second, they also use german, Dutch, french, italian etc in anime. So don't think only English is used. Go watch kaleido star (one the girls her grandmother is dutch... Dutch on the computer screen) Go watch Samurai Champloo, they even speak dut

English is most known second or third language because it is EASY. that's all. In the world are more spanish speaking persons dan english.... but other people rarely (except you it seems :P) learn spanish because it's more difficult.
