Wow, it is amazing to see just how ignorant some people are. Isaac Newton, who is credited with formulating the Law of Gravity, was a born again Christian who saw his life in science as his way of worshiping God with his brain. Can you say the same?

It is amazing how many ignorant some people are! But God made them that way and here at Jollyville Tri-County Community Church of Christ, they are welcome to worship our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ with whatever brain is in their noggin! We all know that Isaac Newton began straying from the Lord's path when Satan dropped that apple on him. Jesus is more powerful than gravity and he asks us to fly with him to heaven. I know I'll get my wings on Rapture Day. Can you say the same?

Youth Pastor Harry once told me at a Christian rock puppetry retreat, "Jesus wasn't afraid to wash the feet of his disciples. Using sock puppets for the Lord is kind of the same thing." I didn't really understand him, until I saw all those people saved when the puppet chorus broke into Handel's Messiah, backed by the guitar Arkestra. Praise Him!

See I don't think that's why he hates masturbation. After a man only uses like at most like 5 of 400,000,000,000 sperm that he makes in his lifetime. 399,999,999,995 souls for each of the 4.5 billion men on the planet are destined for hell; that's 1.8*10^21 souls, and that's not even counting ova!! I think god hates masturbation because he is omnipresent, thus he is everywhere when I ejaculate. By definition alone, he must get it in his hair, on his robe, and even in his mouth!

Yeah, that was my point. Somebody was saying that Newton was a Christian, and devoted his pursuit of science to God. Therefore, somehow we should equate science with God, or some other nonsense.

Actually, one thing I like about Wikipedia is that it usually has a fairly comprehensive list of references for most subjects. Between the sources cited in the article itself, and what you can find from archived "discussion" pages, you can find a ton of good stuff, originally sourced.

Yeah and "external links" and "citations" at the bottom. But as for the articles not so much. One study found 4 mistakes per article on average. That's not too good.

Alchemy was a true science (in Newton's' day) before it was replaced with Chemistry. Blood Leeching was common medical practice before it was discovered that it was more likely to killed people. Gravity is real! Evolution is a Fact! There is no cause to neither believe in a god nor disprove the possibility of the existence of a god!
