Growing Up in Connecticut Doodles used to be part of The Hap Richards Show on Channel 3 in Hartford in the 60s (WTIC-TV)now WFSB...Thanks for sharing this video it brought back a lot of memories!

Yes, I recall this show being on in the late morning/early afternoon hours on weekdays. Our grammmar school allowed the students to leave the school premises for lunch hour. I used to go home for lunch and watch Doodles, Carol Corbett and Gumby --- all on around the noon-hour. What fun, I miss those old days. Golden age television!
