Here's a demo of what the Yamaha DtxpressII pads can do if used while playing Rock Band. The pads are EXTREMELY responsive...in fact, they are TOO responsive. The pads pick up every little vibration, even vibrations that come off the rack. Thus, I had to tape foam all around the rack and inside the plastic shell of the pads themselves. This is only a prototype (prototype 2 to be exact) and is not the final product. I can five star songs with this set, however, the pads add extra notes due to vibrations. Thus, my score suffers by about 7,000 points. I LOVE the way the pads feel; there is so much more rebound that comes off of them. Anyone have any ideas about to stop the the renegade vibrations?
