And all in one take. And it was a great idea too. The director/cinematographer should maybe get some notice as well.

Watching again this wonderful video. I realize that what I really love about it is the fact that I feel really that the brother actually adores his sister and her charms deeply. Its a beautiful thing to sense!

Copying contrived music videos isn't a good idea. It takes away from the purity of Joni's voice and the authenticity of her lyrics. It makes me cringe.

Well, I thought it was great. I keep coming back to it when I need a bit of Joni. And, to be honest, I'm pleasantly surprised people this young know and understand a Joni Mitchell song, or take the time to.

Theres a growing Cultural revolution-revival subculture among youth who are sick of the political climate and the whiny money-oriented attitude of our fellow youth.
The times are uneasy, but they are changing- for the worse even, but we will sing for peace and happiness.

Well, I hope the music is going back to becoming art again. It's been so long. The last time was just before they started calling Seattle music grunge. The bands coming from there were so diverse, and talented. We DO need a new revival. And if you listen to stuff from the late 60's/early 70's, you're going to have a great deal of artful influence when writing. I myself wasn't born when Blue came out. But it is still a favourite. I can only hope music can turn into art again.
Well, we're all ...( 6 months ago by Treemeadow)
Well, we're all still fully post-modern, so the majority vote is that "Art is what you want it to be" making modern music art.
But I would love to see real issues in these songs- atm its mostly all whine and gloom, or money and sex. This is why I really only enjoy country music out of the modern stuff.
But yeah, 60s/early 70s was the best era for music.
Sorry. I hate ...( 6 months ago by Bracus72)
Sorry. I hate country music. Too much like boy band music. Listen to the lyrics and the way the songs flow. Then imagine violins in the steel guitar parts and a singer with less twang, and you'll hear what I hear.

Oh...I don't know if you listen to the same stuff I do then, but like I said, I guess its all in the taste.
