akuma is deadly here. His cyclone kick gets the opponent dizzy so quickly. He has teleport, abilities are ad infinitum..
but his shoryuken is not invincible. LOL

His teleport is bad.. it's just normal akuma's version which leaves him open at the end of it.. so god damn useless.. then the cpu pounds you with long, damaging combos.. I hate Akuma in this game.. give me Shin Akuma any day.. harr.

well, you have to overuse his jumping cyclone kick, then pound him with short kicks. its really easy to combo here with Akuma. Try to use him more often.hehe.. The thing with Akuma here is that you are always in Manual mode. Hence, the challenge. :)

I chain combo system is pretty much the same as alpha and the marvel vs capcom series.. i just don't like the game... I only have 1 reason to play it.. hehe.. and it's not for Akuma.. X_X ah well.

Well I know that. This game came out in 1994 and Alpha came out in 1995. Besides, just looking at the Super Turbo sprites they used I could tell they based his moves off that one and just added a few changes to it.
