indeed. a very good question. i think that the best defence is knowledge. it's knowledge that will enable me to see them coming way in advance, so i won't find myself in a position where i would have have to use force to get away from them.
if i would see the political climate of my country chang e in such a dramatic way as the US has over the past decade, i would seriously consider immigrating. i'd rather be a living coward than a dead ideologist ;)
