Firstly, this is not a simple case of a white person calling a black person a racist name - This is about kidnapping, torture and sexual assault based on someone's race. If you're not able to differentiate between the 2 levels of severity, then you are slow. Why is it that no one knew about this issue until months after it took place? Next, this topic is not about black people playing the race card - it's about social injustice. This should not be taking place at all, regardless of color.

I never said that there was no difference in the severity of the two things you mentioned. I never said anything at all about calling someone a racist name, actually. All I said never said that I supported what happened to Megan Williams. It's absolutely terrible. I would never wish it on anyone no matter who they are. I apologize if I came across any other way with my original post. All I was attempting to do was tell the other side of a story, and I got carried away.

What does this have to do with this young woman being raped and beaten? No one deserves to enure that...white or black. Why do you have to try to turn the tables and discuss white victims. Actually, not really. In fact, if you look up Channon Christian, she was a blonde woman raped and then set on fire by four black assailants. That case was covered in the media about as much as this one, i.e. not much. Obviously, the Megan Williams case is no less horrible than the former. In fact, the seem to be almost complete mirrors of each other in terms of race. The fact that they were both rarely covered suggests that the media simply just doesn't know how to do its job anymore.
