Shut down? Gangsta? You write as if you were 12 years old. After we left Viet Nam the country was turned into a prison camp, millions fled, all property was confiscated. If we leave Iraq it will be even WORSE but you don't care all you want is death and destruction, you cheer for the terrorists, what a FOOL!

Look at Iraq now, you fool! You caused so much damage that people are dreaming for a return of a ruthless dictator! That's pretty bad.

You are truly an idiot, Iraq is a mess because the people there are either too weak to fight for their own personal freedom or chose to join an Islamic extremist faction bent on death and destruction. Explain the success of the Kurds in the North? Explain the success of Germany or Japan after WWII??????????
We're not talking ... ( 1 year ago by gazawi10)
We're not talking about Japan or about Germany, both of which were trying to expand their "empires" throughout the whole of Western Europe or Southeast Asia, respectively.
Iraq is a completely different story, genius. What the hell are you talking about anyways? What do you even mean when you say that Iraqis are "too weak to fight for their own personal freedom." You don't make sense. Stop spitting Fox News slogans and think for yourself for a change.

Abd al-Bari Atwan is the editor-in chief of the London-based pan-Arab newspaper Al-Quds Al-Arabi.He was born on February 17, 1950 in Dair Al-Balah, a Palestinian refugee camp in the Gaza Strip, two years after the creation of Israel. He was one of 11 children. After receiving his primary school education at the camp, his schooling was continued first in Jordan in 1967, and then in Cairo, Egypt.
The extremist are ... ( 7 months ago by philipcyl)
The extremist are killing more iraqis than the coalition and some people are still not sure who their friends are. It is like the mafia act more violently because certain people dare to go against them but it end up the people who go against them are being blamed. The flaws in this arguement: "If you had let these gangsters to exist and to happily go about planning their criminal activities, we wouldn't be having all these violence due to their hatred towards those who tried to stop them."
Americans must wake ... ( 7 months ago by philipcyl)
Americans must wake up. It was not "the Iraq war" that caused the september 11. It was not "the Afganistan war" that caused the sept 11. Who says that you need the iraq war, in order for you to be hated to the extent that something like sept 11 can take place.
