A Television print of a classic 1930s cartoon. Identify its original title for fun! This was shot amateurishly off the wall with my macbook, from 16mm.

There was a 1930 Oswald Rabbit short called "Alaska." It was made by Lantz, who took over from Mintz in 1929.

I was wrong. We think this one is from 1931. He seems to have too long of a tail to be a rabbit. Perhaps he's a dog?

This is Krazy Kat ...( 6 months ago by srca1941)
This is Krazy Kat in "Alaskan Knights" from May 23, 1930.
Wow. They changed ...( 3 months ago by TheAnimationEmpire)
Wow. They changed him a lot since the 1910's. He looks nothing like the comics. They also took away the Ignatus Mouse.
They basically turned Krazy into Felix, Mickey, and Oswald.
But I really like it. =^)

Not really ALASKAN ...( 15 hours ago by biryanifan)
Not really ALASKAN KNIGHTS, this. It's actually SNOW TIME from 1932.
ALASKAN KNIGHTS by contrast is Krazy's rip on Oswald Rabbit's OZZIE OF THE MOUNTED; a semi-adventure cartoon with him mushing a dogsled through the frozen north, dancing with a girl mouse at a tavern and confronting a big fat bad guy.
