you cant compare hp and boost levels their MR freeze. the hp output after boost pressure is based on flow and power characteristics BEFOR boost pressure. removing a turbo from a 275hp sti with 17psi and a 500hp 10psi motor will show that without the turbo's the 500hp motor is making more power to begin with. so as you can see, the motors will respond to boost differently, as in 5psi on each motor will result in different gains

Entierly different setup. Turbos make gradual power as superchargers are right now so there isn't as much stress on the motor. Any motor can be built to handle alot of forced induction. Top fuels have to be built to strict guidelines.
