Personally everything started going downhill with the MMPR when Kimberly(Amy Jo Johnson)left, she was everyones favorite and also the prettiest and the best pink Ranger ever....Shout out to Trini(Thuy Trang)that also passed away in 2001, RIP Miss yah!!

Because it's relevant. Kat was only a ranger in that season for 7 episodes anyway and was using borrowed power not meant for her - yes because Ninjor specifically assigned their new powers according to their personalities/skills.
I guess no one should use Kat's turbo morph or Kendrix's LG morph either....
