Damnit! This was why my father only took me to one house in 1978 and I got one candy bar, which be promptly threw out because he thought that the old woman would be poisoning Milky Ways. Meanwhile, my sister and her friends had at least five pounds of candy, which could've been poisoned...meh, it tasted fine.

Hey, I think I'm old enough to answer the questions about trick or treaters catching on fire! Those cheap store bought plastic costumes burst into flames at the slightest heat, and jack o' lanterns used real candles back in the day. Open flame, plastic clothes, bad idea!
