My tribute to the glorious past of the Indian film industry...
Due credit goes to the colourisation team of Mughal-E-Azam, whose work has been a huge source of inspiration! Hats off, guys!!
Barring Meena Kumari, Vyjayanthimala and Waheedaji, the rest are legends from the Marathi tinselworld.
1) Meena Kumari from Sahib Biwi aur Ghulam 2) Madhu Kambikar- Actress and danseuse 3) Nutan-ji 4) Smita Patil 5) Sulochana- the filmi Ma in her primes 6) Vyjayanthimala in Madhumati 7) Waheeda-ji in Teesri Kasam 8) Another still from S.B. & G.
9) Haat Naka Lavu Majhya Sadi la- A Smash hit Marathi Song- frozen from youtube.com :)
10) Jayashri Gadkar- Marathi film legend. Played Kausalya in the TV version of Ramayan
Colouring each of these in a special software was a task of ardour, and I just couldn't stop beaming at the finished product. My tribute! :)
