if there was a great game made for only hardcore players, it would get a good score. however it seems that spore wasn't, and therefore is getting a not as good review. seems like they review games on 'how much hardcore gamers will like it' rather then 'who the game was made for and why'.

An 8.8 is a bad review? U ppl need to go read the review. They never at all said it was a BAD game go read the review. And ign UK, and AU gave the game in the 9's.
