i hate when ppl blame kg's contract for the wolves not having had good talent aroudn him. in the nba u can always get good players no matter how much u give to one player. we got cassell and sprewell in one year, and came so close to getting iverson.

That is not the entire problume but it was a big part its hard to get good players on your team in the first place because usually better players are higher paid, and when you have the biggest contract in the NBA sucking up your cap space. The other problume is Kevin McHale, now trust me on this Kevin McHale tried his best to make due with what he had but the salery of Garnett made it ten times harder to cope with it. I am now a big McHale fan as he is rebuilding our team right!

i agree that his contract may have made it tougher to bring in better players, but like i said in the nba u can still bring more talent regardless of how much u pay one guy. look at what boston did, and look at what the wolves did 03-04, and almost got AI. mchale also coulda drafted better, and not cost us 3picks in the joe smith fiasco.
