i think mark ronson's version is great. the whole idea of a remix is to put a different angle on a track and hopefully take it to a new audience. it's a great song and now far more people know about it thanks to the new version. what's wrong with that?

I listen to all kinds of music, but now days I'm more into old school punk rock(Sex Pistols, Ramones, Misfits) and from time to time I do go back and listen to The Smiths( and other types of music).

in my view, it's all about parents..
my parents listened to the ramones, new model army, the smiths, the cure and lots of other bands.. i grew up with that stuff and i don't wanna miss it..
