´s ironic, but even in gta4 there is "moral judgement" many times in the storyline you have the ability to kill or not kill a person and that decision has consequences.

Well, the RPGs you took as examples aren't really RPGs but much rather jRPGs, Japanese RPGs. Western RPGs are quite different and involve even more awesome stuff like a story with choice and consequence, and a lot of character development and customization. Check out games like Fallout, Arcanum, Baldur's Gate 2 and Planescape Torment to see what I mean.

Yo this is so GNARLY i never would have though of it like that. I can do puzzle solving thing in my math class faster then my teacher. Ive been playing games scince i could pick up my first GB Color. Completely agree. Make having firearms etc illegal - not video games!
Another thing I'd add to the vid's argument is that the military uses video games for training because, as you said, it improves hand-eye coordination. That's fact, and it's a good skill to acquire. RPGs are also good for younger kids (although I'm 19 and still love playing them) as the forcus is
often on the story so it helps with kids' reading.

I would say perhaps the reason there are more incidents in America is because weapons are more available than in other countries. There are probably people outside of the US that have similar violent tendencies, but not as many have access to weapons. That said, knife crime in Britain ison the up. :S
