its a praise...a song...its scripture put to music...and nothings wrong with that regardless of what you think or interpret the Lords prayer to be...and just because you repeat something verbally that was written in the bible that does not mean you lack sincerity some people really don't no how or what tooo pray...I'm sure God honors it as long as there motives are purely intended...now arguing scripture, and determining how some1 should praise or pray...(you're not God)think about that....

Listen to Judith with the Seekers, and I think you'll find she is in a class by herself, truly gifted in talent and musical instinct. Her skill is revealed best when the "Boys" back her. They are so natural together.
I've come to that conclusion over the past few months as I have reviewed Seekers videos on YT. The Seekers were never promoted in the U.S. It is sad that we never got full exposure to this wonderful group, and Judith, in the mid-6o's.

If we are talking to God, are we not praying? If we say, "Our Father, who art in heaven, hallowed be thy name..." are we not talking to God? Are you saying that the millions who have spoken these words as an address to God for centuries were not really praying, and that it was all some impotent, misguided exercise that did not result in a communication with God?

The apostles who were with Jesus knew he prayed diligently and wanted to develop a BETTER prayer life, He used this
Prayer as an EXAMPLE, the point was to learn the structure
(direction, reverence, thankfulness Etc..) to continually repeat the instruction I "personally" find nonsensical
God hears all prayers (Rosary excl.) but not all are equal a sincere prayer structured as the example Jesus gave is a BETTER prayer!
