Here are the settings I have been using for my HQ YouTube videos for HDV filmed on a widescreen camcorder (Canon HV20). All of my video uploaded since 05/07/08 has used the settings.
Even videos with lots of motion in them, like trains, can look really good on the YouTube servers. The video covers just the project and encoding settings, not the in between editing.
*** After uploading it sometimes takes as long as 3 DAYS for YouTube to get the HQ version in to their processing
so only the "standard" quality version will show until then. ***

I had same thing with my sony vegas and this was the problem.
It may be because ur using Sony Vegas Movie Studio Platium or a older version.
Video: 512 Kbps, 29.970 fps, 320x240. Yes, 320x240 is still shown despite the change I made under video>custom frame size to 640x480.
Suggestions? Recommendations?
Hopefully mine didnt change back cuz im almost done rendering >.>
Btw to all who watch this vid. DO NOT RENDER AS MP4! Use windows v9 wmv. mp4 uses quicktime player to watch the video instead of windows media. And when u customize ur video use BEST quality instead of good.
