lots of cars were made of heavy plastics, remember that cars were not meant to bomb around at top speeds in the old days, many people had horses and other animals, cars went slower. bakelite, look that up, you'll see. yes. hemp composite, a tough plastic type of substance. look it up anyways, if you're interested, you could be examining the value of hemp for weeks and you wouldn't be bored...

what's more... the plant takes out toxins from the land and air, replenishes the carbon footprint very efficiently. an added bonus is the hemp plant feeds the earth, an organic [living] growing fertiliser. there are areas on the planet where until recently the plant grew and there are no invidious traces of it becoming problematic, it's not a weed, ironically. it will not invade land where it is cultivated.
