Her career was almost a duplicate of "Samson", as he was being done in by Delilah, as she cut his hair and his power went. So that is what happened to her. Her hairdo was her only fame. Once the government told her to cut her hair short, because of world war 2. Many women were working in factories, where having long hair was a hazard...her career went south. Somehow looking at these pictures, an actress today comes to mind ...Lucy Liu of Charley's Angels.

Thats where she got her style of wearing her hair over her eye and she would use her name when checking into hotels so fans wouldnt know where she was staying.
