Naliboki massacre was the mass killing of 128 Poles in the village of Naliboki, Minsk Voblast, on May 8, 1943, by the Soviet partisans (including the Jewish unit of Bielski partisans). The partisans reported killing of 250, pillage and destruction of German police station. In reality the number of victims was lower and no German was present/killed, only one Belorussian policeman was sleeping there.

It is interesting how the heroic story is built on falsified history. The problem is that the Bielski brothers' gang killed 128 innocent men, women and children and should have been tried as war criminals. There is no evidence they ever killed a singe Nazi soldier while chased in the forest by the German troops.

Don't get too excited about the heroism of Poles during WW2. Among those who truly fought the Nazis were thousands of traitors who were more than happy to betray their Polish relatives, friends and especially Jews. Unfortunately, the history is not as perfect as you were taught at school. Nobody is perfect.

And don't forget about jewish traitors from eastern Poland attacked and ocupied by Soviets 1939-41.After Stalin's attack 17.09.1939 many Jew started to kill polish soldiers and civilians-it was cruel betrayal.Jews made 16 antipolish rebellions before Warsaw's capitulation 28.09.1939! They first betrayed Poland and Poles! Jews joined Soviet's regime administration and took part in persecution of Poles (1 mln Poles were send to Siberyan camps)and later they expected polish help during holocaust

SANARIA7, I am not saying that while there were many traitors among Poles the Jews (German or Polish Jews) were perfect. Both Poles and Jews were encouraged, manipulated and forced to betray their own people and each other. It worked especially well among uneducated Polish peasants, individuals whose life was threatened or simply those who wanted to live better during WW2.
