Nola wrote both the music "GF I theme" (aka "Speak Softly Love") in 1972 as well as the lyrics here, "Brucia La Terra" in 1990 for the GF movies. I suspect that Nola also wrote "parla piu piano" but I'm not sure. In anycase, the part about this being an "old Sicilian song" is fiction. Either way though , its awesome.
