That just means that Hillis has a bigger frame for additional weight. Southerland can't get as big as Hillis can, so if the Broncos need a bigger FB, he can easily add weight.

I still don't understand why you insist that Hillis is not a good blocker. He's a great blocker and anyone who has watched Razorback football for the past four years would agree. Southerland's frame is actually a disadvantage for him compared to Hillis because Hillis can always get bigger if he needs to be. Southerland is naturally limited and can never be as big as Hillis can. Not to mention that Hillis has had more offensive production, better ypc, and is faster than Southerland.

Oh yeah, and go watch McFadden's 74 yard TD rush against LSU. Hillis gets a KEY block that lets McFadden get into open field. Hillis does the same thing in Jones's 72 TD rush that's on Youtube. That's two concrete examples of Hillis's extraordinary role as a blocker in the Razorback offense. You are obviously wrong about Hillis.

I'll never forget a game I was at his freshman season. He was in at tailback and the quarterback got hit as he was throwing the ball and dropped it. A 300+ lb. DT picks it up thinking it was a fumble. Hillis runs him down, levels him (the sound was comparable to Atwater's hit on Okoye) and caused him to fumble. He may not be NFL RB fast but his strength, versatility, and toughness (he was starting two weeks after a freaking cracked vertebrae) will take him far in the pros

They won't, of course, because of the NFL bias against whites handling the football. He's got the same 40 time as Chris Wells, 4.5 seconds, but, of course, he's "slow" because he's white, don't you know. Only blacks can run fast...especially when they MAKE all white runners slow by pushing them into blocking positions and demanding they "bulk up" for their new roles, adding 30 libs more to their frames than their bodies naturally want to carry. The NFL discriminates against whites constantly.
