I know that he was in some way an inspiration for Monty Pythons.
I love his short movie titled "swimming pool" (I haven`t seen it on Utube, I watched it some time ago somewhere else). The tape with this movie was damaged and for some time (about 50 years) ppl had no chance to see the ending :) But not so long ago another tape was found and whole movie was recon structed. I almost died laughing.
