Spartans the best worriors the world has ever known they didn't have walls they didn't have numbers they had skill and honor. They were the greatest soldiers in that time the only reason they died off is because of thier rules being so harsh. In the end Sparta had only a few hundred men left in the whole city and they had to way many enemies. And to me that doesn't mean they were ever weak or got thier butts kicked they desrtoyed themselves.

Well I didn't say they didn't I said they died off becaus eof thier lawstoward thier end they only had a few hundred men soldiers. They threw allot of kids out who failed thier training and killed way to many babies who didn't met the standards and they just had way to many enemies. most of ppl think that becoz the battle and the story of 300 against hundred of thousands is true it makes the movie totally accurate. i dun think persians feel insulted becoz of 300 men against thousands or this kindda stuff but becoz the movie tries to show ppl that persians were against democracy and now considering islamic regime nuclear issues (not iranians' issue as they r 2 different subjects) they are concerned that maybe ppl think they are against democracy like islamic regime in iran.
