Sure, but you must realize how these performances went; She was in The Netherlands only short enough to perform at a couple of places and do 3 (local) TV appearances at the most, of which this was one. They had possibly only twenty minutes to set it all up (and I mean all of it, including the set-dressing of the stage), so they just went with what they could do and tried to make the best of it.

Also I love this song because the first verse of her lyrics, they left the breathing in. you can hear her breath out and in after every thing she sings. then later they fix it.

wow...when I look at this performance in 86 and her Grammy performance in 87..it's a HUGE difference. She was so shy and cute in this performance. Within a year, she went from cute rosey cheeks Janet to dominating the stage like no other! Yes!
