She's an amazing singer/artist, that's fine. But why do you look up to her? She's just a young girl who actually needs somebody to look up to and guide her. Being a brilliant artist doesn't make you a role model or make your bad choices ok. The girl is an amazing artist, but please for your sake find someone else to look up to.

I have a friend whose sister had bi-polar and one day for no apparent reason killed herself. People with bi-polar can switch from manic to depressive in moments. That must be so hard to tell yourself not to kill yourself when your mind is like that. Amy has done really well to channel those feelings creatively. It's a shame people don't have the insight to see her self-destructive behavior is a product of destructive emotions.

maybe you dont know enough about her to know what i mean, but amy snt just a young girl who happens to have an amazing voice and happens to be a musical genious.
shes incredible as a person for one thing she doesent let fame get to her head and shes down to earth even though shes a megastar and you have to have a strong character to be able to do that, that alone is reason enough for me to look up to her, but thats only one of a million reasons

I'm not trying diss her. I love Amy the artist, but I have to tell you, the heavy use and abuse of drugs like that is not "down to earth" and does not take "strong character" the opposite takes strong character. Recovery takes strength. Beleive me, I know from personal experience how "weak" that road is. I know the deep self-loathing it takes to do that to yourself. Addiction is a cover up. It's not to take from her heart, a lot of addicts are amazing people. Don't imiate that part.;)

it is a weak road i couldnt agree more but i still stand by what i said, there's other things to amy than just her issues or even her amazing talent, that's what im talking about when i say she's down to earth and strong...but i wouldn't expect everyone to understand that, it's not easy to explain.
